It fuels their passion to shut down the people who think they aren't all that. This year there are few teams with winning records. It's sad, what maybe a half dozen teams that are consistant. Denver loss to Okland....loosing record but still lost. NE lost to Philly, loosing record but still lost. Cincinnati loss to Houston....lossing record but still lost. Arizona loss to Saint Louis....loosing record but still lost. Bottom line, any team can beat any team on any given Sunday depending on how bad the teams beat up, or how bad they play. Going off "they played most teams with loosing records" doesn't matter. The Panthers are still the ONLY 14-0 team. Glenn it's gonna be hard to swallow when those Panthers end up in the NFC Championship game and more then likely in the Superbowl. I stated it before a month or so ago, to get to the show teams are going to have to go through Carolina and New England. I don't see your beloved Seahawks this year making it through those "over-rated" Panthers. Sorry, just not going to happen. I'm going to keep this post in mind and return to it right after the Seahawks beat the Panthers in the second round of the playoffs. 1 Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted December 22, 2015 Author Super User Posted December 22, 2015 Just now, Glenn said: Totally missed the point, my friend. Nobody is over-hyping the Seahawks this year. The point was that claiming Carolina is "overhyped" is ridiculous and discredeting them due to their schedule is ignorant. turn on any sports network.....everyday they are claiming the Seahawks are back or that Russel wilson is part of the MVP conversation. There's the definition of over hyping. Quote

They're the only undefeated team in football...What more can they do? You can't be better than undefeated. Also, bringing up Russel throwing 3 TDS for 5 consecutive games is a bit hypocritical on your part if you are going to argue the "look who they have played card" with Carolina when look who Russel did that against...league worst defenses. And really....if you aren't going to turn on any sports broadcoast, at least use google before you make the statement "nobody is talking about the Seahawks this year". Top 6 results are from the past 2 days from all major news outlets about them. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted December 22, 2015 Author Super User Posted December 22, 2015 Oh man.....GB vs DET 2.0????? At least Calvin is in the endzone this time. Boo no fun. Game over. Quote

So I'll just say I respect you and who you root for and leave it at that. Now if my Hawks got eliminated somehow, I would probably pull for the Broncos just to see Peyton win one more ring, as unlikely as that is. 1 Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted December 22, 2015 Super User Posted December 22, 2015 I was gonna say, there are quite a few players with 3+ in 5 consecutive. Seems like a pretty made up stat to me but he has been playing better for sure compared to earlier in the season. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted December 25, 2015 Author Super User Posted December 25, 2015 Rooting really hard for the Eagles on Saturday. Cannot stand Jay Gruden. Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 27, 2015 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 27, 2015 Redskins didn't win it so much as the Eagles gave it away. Why they're not using DeMarco Murray is a total mystery. I hope the 'Hawks can pick him up next year. It's going to be an easy wildcard game for the 'Hawks. Sorry 'Skins fans. Goodbye Kelly. It was fun. Quote

It was fun. Huge birds fan. I'm just totally gutted and exhausted. This year was a slow painful regression. At the beginning of the year I genuinely believed any team in the NFC East could've won the division, except a Washington team led by Kirk Cousins. The Eagles were so poor tonight. This whole year was pretty embarrassing. There were too many games (Thanksgiving vs Dallas, Detroit, Tampa, Today, Miami..) where I was left thinking, "That was the worst game I have ever watched." I don't know where we go from here. Probably a few more tough years ahead, but who knows. Ya boii Desean running off the field yelling "This is all Chip's fault" stung a little. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted December 27, 2015 Author Super User Posted December 27, 2015 Car vs Atl turning into a good one. Jets beating NE at the half and brady starts the 3rd off /w a pick......countdown to SJAX being taken out for James White and Brady going off for 3 unanswered TDS in the second half..not looking too good here.... Super User iabass8 Posted December 27, 2015 Author Super User Posted December 27, 2015 Whoever had those 2 holding penalties for ATL should be benched...I don't understand were you thinking. Thank god Shayne Graham was clutch. Cam loses the ball when he gets a second chance! That was one HECK of a game...way to go ATL! Quote
