Super User Jrob78 Posted December 1, 2015 Super User Posted December 1, 2015 I think its elways call..kubiak is merely the messenger..and elways got the stones. Yeah, I'm sure you're right. Kubiak can't make that call by himself. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted December 1, 2015 Author Super User Posted December 1, 2015 If there wasn't snow last night, I fully believe Denver loses that game. NE's defensive injury woes were blatantly noticeable when Denvers "run game" ran all over them last night. The offensive line and that run game didn't all of a sudden turn a magical corner and become viable. If Kubiak wants a game manager, he's got one. If their run game can do it next week vs SD as most should, I'll start coming around. They have had great match ups where they should have been able to run the ball against terrible defense and offenses and got into shoot outs. Kubiak better pray Talib and/or Harris don't get hurt. A-Jay I actually thought it was a great game..the pats had their top 2 defensive players out and their starting running back and 2 starting receivers out..then it appeared their all world tight end was done for a while..close calls were going against them..the crowd was in a frenzy..and they still almost won. Denver played well and hung tough, but I have to think with a couple of those players back the afc is new englands. 1 Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted December 1, 2015 Super User Posted December 1, 2015 I think its a new rule implemented this season. I am pretty sure you have always been able to advance a kicked ball that is blocked as long as it doesn't pass the line of scrimmage or is touched by the kicking team first aka the leon lett play, and you can advance any FG that lands in the field of play as well as we have seen a bunch of times. Super User Jrob78 Posted December 1, 2015 Super User Posted December 1, 2015 Your correct, I was thinking of something different. You're probably thinking of returning a blocked extra point, which you can do but it's only worth 2 points. That might not be what you're thinking but it is a new rule this year with them moving the pat back. Quote

5fishlimit Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 CLE hates manziel... I beg to differ. There are A LOT of people who still think that he should start out the rest of the season. I am, thankfully, NOT one of those people. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted December 2, 2015 Author Super User Posted December 2, 2015 I beg to differ. There are A LOT of people who still think that he should start out the rest of the season. I am, thankfully, NOT one of those people. The statement was referencing the terrible Cleveland Browns, not it's Fanbase. The organization clearly dis likes Johnny Manziel. There's plenty of players that have off the field issues no better or worse than his and are starting in the NFL because the team needs them. You don't bench The best quarterback on your roster because he saw a stupid video of him partying and doing nothing illegal regardless of his pledge to sobriety. The entire organization as a whole is a dumpster fire and has the least talented skill set on both offense and defense. In less there goal is to draft a new quarterback every year and then play stupid high school games with him, The team should be starting them every game for the rest of the season. The Browns have deficiencies far greater than quarterback on both sides of the ball that should be addressed in the draft with the early pics they'll have. Not to mention Alex Mack, probably one of the best centers in football, is most likely running away from the Browns after this year as far as he possibly can is going to leave an even bigger hole to fill. It remains to be seen whether or not Johnny is a good NFL talent because the sample sizes so small. I don't necessarily think he's great but he should be more than serviceable in the few years it's going to take to rebuild the team… If that's even possible with the owners Quote
MidwestF1sh Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 GO PACK GO!!!!! Best ending to a game ever! Happy birthday Rodgers! Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted December 4, 2015 Author Super User Posted December 4, 2015 What an awesome game! Rodgers is awesome.Side note.... Do you know why the Lions lost that game… Calvin Johnson....3-44-1 td....throw him the ball! Sraffird missed him onto deep shots. Keep doing it… Four yard screens aren't getting it done Quote
