Finished some more cranks. The big crank in the top pic is 1 1/4" wide :D. I made it from two pieces of 3/4" pine glued together.  Also I've been trying bending lexan again. I finally figured out how to do it: a little heat and a lot of pressure.

Let me know what you think.

especially like the little red craw one.

You test these before you paint them, right?  Nothing like painting a lure without testing, to find out that the thing doesn't work!  haha  Beautiful work though!

No no no Wickyman!  That's not how it works.  You build them.  You paint them.  You keep the great ones, give the good ones to friends, and the bad ones to guys you don't like so much.

That's true, but I spend a lot of time in the R&D department of my hobby.  :D  I can calculate for hours before even marking up a piece of wood...  ;)  I am an artist at heart, so it's a little different than most...  I can spend upwards of 25 hours on a specific lure...  And most of that is just R&D...  I like my lures to hit the water, running true, before I even paint it up...  Otherwise it goes to the box of unaltered scrap wood...

Thanks guys.

Wickyman, I did test most of these prior to painting. At that point they all worked great, but now I'm having problems getting the wake bait to swim right. Maybe if I bent the lip toward the nose that would help? Something to try.
