This stuff looks pretty sweet, anyone use it yet and have any feedback?

I will be adding some additional notes regarding the line's durability.  After using it for a while now seems there may be a "It doesn't last" concern.

I've been using the 18lb Gliss on my dropshot setup and like it a lot. No durability issues with a long topshot of 8lb Gamma Edge. line does seem to fade a bit but other than that I am very pleased

I've been using it a while, and although it's working very well, there comes a point where I am having to cut off line to keep the fraying at a minimum. Otherwise it's a good line. I'm impressed

Noticed the same thing - so it actually is a lot like mono - in that you have to change it out often.

So is it pretty much like nanofil? I like nanofil but everytime i retie i have to cutoff a couple feet that becomes frayed

I've had the same 24lb gliss on my drop shot rod for the last 2 months with zero issues. I use about a 10ft fluoro leader.

I could see that being an awesome setup. None of my tests (in the other thread) included using a leader. A leader, especially flouro, would eliminate my one and only concern with the line - fraying

I always use a leader for my finesse setups. I'll buy gliss in 50 and 80 when it come out.

I just bought a spool of 24# for my spinning rod during the TW Labor Day sale, it delivers this Thursday.  I always use an 8# fluoro leader to hopefully the fraying issues some guys have seen won't affect me.  I should have an idea of how well it's working and lasting in about a month.  I'm very excite!!

I fished the 24# Gliss on a spinning rod for about 8 hours over this past weekend.  My initial impression is "I really like this line!".  First thing I noticed was how thin it is.  I've been using 10# Sufix 832 for the past couple years and ordered the 24# Gliss because the listed diameters were similar.  The Gliss seems even thinner.  Second thing I noticed was how easily it casts.  The package says something about longer casts and they aren't kidding.

 

I used the recommended uni-to-uni to join my fluoro leader and had zero problems with it.  I had a catfish pulling drag like crazy on Sunday morning and all was good.

 

I didn't notice any fraying yet, but I only used it for 8 hours and always tie on a leader.  Time will tell.  I tried a spool of Nanofil last year and my biggest complaint was it started to fray really bad just from running through the guides on my rod.

 

My only complaint (not really a complaint) is that I could only get this line in green from TW.  It's SO thin that it's hard to see, in fact line watching was completely out of the question.  I may as well have had my eyes closed.  I may get it in yellow or (gasp!) pink next time to "see" if it's more visible.
