I cannot begin to tell you how many folks I have put on their personal best catch.  The species include, but are not limited to, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, striped bass, and bluefish.

Not bragging, and it was actually quite easy to do.

How so? you ask.  Because those bests also happened to be their first catch of said species.

I have been lucky enough to introduce 9 guys into the 6lb smallmouth pb club. Some of them never caught a 5lber previous to their 6lb plus pb. Every single one had a big smile on their face after catching that special fish. As a by catch while fishing for smallies many other species pb were achieved. That's the advantage of fishing a great fishery. It is always fun to be part of some ones pb catches.

Good job Rhino! There is nothing like putting new fisherman on fish. Every catch is special at that point, weather it be a kid catching a 5lber or an elderly catching a dink, there is nothing quite like bringing people to the outdoors.

As much as I'm enthralled with the number 10, I'd be more than happy to be that number on your list.

Other than catching a new PB myself, introducing someone to fishing and being with them when they catch their first, is one of the most rewarding things there is for me. More so if it's a child. I've had that experience numerous times and it never gets old. Seems those relationships never get old either.

And if I recall, I put you on your pb yellow perch..

I absolutely love putting people on there personal best of all species no matter what it is. Getting people hooked on fishing is fun. I especially enjoy putting my family on big fish. I don't mind guiding at all. Once I retire I will be doing it full time.

This past weekend I took my mom out fishing. She has some health issues which don't let her cast much. Most of the time I do the casting for her. Last weekend she got her personal best, a 6 lb 3 oz Largemouth.

I've had several PB's brought into my boat by other people, always an exciting moment. In some cases it was their first of that species, others it was just a big fish.

I'm one of those people he's talking about. He invited me to go on his nitro and it was one of the best days I've ever had. I caught my first smallmouth thanks to him and might have lost my biggest largemouth. We didn't have the best day catching fish but it will be a day I'll never forget for the rest of my life. Going 40 in a bass boat feels like your going 100. Thanks Rhino I really appreciate you taking me out.

Took my brother and his best friend fishing to a lake I fish all the time and has a bad rap for being a hard lake to fish or like I hear all the time "It has no fish in it" or something along those lines all the time. Anyways took them out in my wannabe bass boat and pretty much just guided for them that evening. On a three fish limit my brother had almost 9lbs and his buddy got his PB. My brother didn't get his PB per say bc he does a lot of pond fishing and I have 2 categories for PB's pond fishing and lake/ tournament real world PB's. So it made me feel really great seeing how excited he was catching those fish

Sometimes a PB can be a curse. My 10lb lmb I was use to dinks to 6lbers being the norm. But after losing bigger and seeing bigger swim by me I say WOW. it's the bigger gals that keep the bass population numbers up.

The biggest i've caught was a 12lb large mouth bass in a pond in South Carolina. Granted, I don't fish as much as some of you here. ;-)

But when you do fish pour it on brother.

Took my cousin out on 3/9/14. Water temp at 49 and muddy but we were 3 days into a decent warming trend. His first bass of the day went 4 3/4, his third went 6. It was one of those magic days that we all dream of.
