Does it really matter if a swim jig has eyes on it? Whats your opinion

It is a confidence thing and honestly I think it helps.

Nope, I can't catch fish with them either way  :eyebrows:

No, unless they maybe reflect light like bowhunter63 said. Either way, I love swim jigs!

I prefer them with eyes in clear water. They have various colors for eyes as well. They probably don't improve my catch rate dramtically. Also they look weird without them especially when you buy a jig that has the eye indentations there but no eye.

Makes a huge difference,  to the guy trying to sell them. I find the more beat up a swim jig gets, the better it catches, bare heads, and about 20 raged strands is the sweet spot.

If you catch 12 fish with a swim jig without eyes then how do you know you would not have caught 13 if it did have eyes. They cant hurt .

You can always paint them on yourself if you think it will help.

A friend of mine uses finger nail polish.

I love swim jigs, i have never used on without eyes and i spank em on it. Caught several today on SJs......Makes me wonder though. Next outing i will have one without eyes. If they rock it like they do with eyes i am in lol.

I rolled a dirty jigs 5/16th over a log earlier today and one charged out and pasted it in full view.....AWESOME
