DevinFishing29 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I am trying to catch a fish every day through september. I have a little creek in my woods that holds little rainbow trouts. It is only about a couple feet across in most spots. Deepest spot is probably 3 feet deep. The trout I usually catch are about 3-4 inches long. I use worms for bait. Trout love worms. I have caught 1 brook trout there that is 6-7 inches long. The creek doesn't have much current. I also fish a couple other places about 2-4 times a week. I have caught one every day so far. I started late august and if I can catch one tommorow I will have a full week completed. Quote
FinCulture Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 great milestone to set for yourself, good luck! Quote
DevinFishing29 Posted September 4, 2015 Author Posted September 4, 2015 great milestone to set for yourself, good luck! Ty. I realized that a couple days I will be gone somewhere and might not be able to catch one those days. Hopefully I can get on every other day of the month though. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted September 4, 2015 Super User Posted September 4, 2015 Well I fish for in the springtime everyday for over three months+. Till I get burned out. I been sick the past few years but recovering. I have a good back brace now. I'm hoping to start fishing soon till the ice is on. I'm itching for the fall feed to happen. Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 5, 2015 Global Moderator Posted September 5, 2015 It's fun to set goals like that. I kept track of how many bass I caught one season. It was fun but a lot of work too, but it was cool to get an idea of how many fish I actually catch in a season. Good luck with your goal. Quote
Last_Cast Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I should start tracking..would be cool to compete with myself. Quote
DevinFishing29 Posted September 12, 2015 Author Posted September 12, 2015 So far so good. I have completed about 2 weeks now!! I will keep you updated! Quote

a1712 Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I set a goal of 200 Bass a week. Some weeks are under, some close and when we go a few days for Smallies way over. I hang a push button counter on my side and just push it every time I land one. Brian. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 14, 2015 Global Moderator Posted September 14, 2015 How many ? Seems like it was 2,776 if I remember right? I spent a few weeks that summer targeting big blues and flatheads on the river or I would have likely topped 3,000. Quote
DevinFishing29 Posted September 22, 2015 Author Posted September 22, 2015 Only 8 more days to go and I will have completed my goal! Got one today. The fish in my creek are getting larger as fall comes along. Quote

DevinFishing29 Posted September 28, 2015 Author Posted September 28, 2015 I only have a couple more days to go. Have a good day! Quote
a1712 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 200 a week? I fish every day. A good day on the Susquehanna you can boat 75+ fish. PM me and come on down, the proof is in the pudding. Brian. Quote

Not discounting the accomplishment, just saying it's very attainable if you get to fish enough. Quote

Just to let ya all know my twin brother (derekbass02) did it with me. He also completed. Now that I have gotten so use to catching a fish every day I might as well keep going through October! Quote

Dillo Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I did something like this this summer. I didn't fish or catch fish everyday, but I made up for it on days that I did. I caught a fish (sunfish, bass, trout) for every day this summer and a bit more. I fished about 5 days a week and caught anywhere from 1 to 20 fish each time. Quote
