Stringjam Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 On my official Poe's practice plug. I'm about to give up trying to take a decent picture without natural light, though. This is my first stab at doing freehand squiggles and dots (on the gill plate). I was so shaky and nervous I'm surprised the paint isn't everywhere. ;D Quote
bnwcrankin Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Man, you are getting too good! I think you need to go back to a paint brush and let me catch up.. lol.. Great job bud... Quote
wickyman Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Wow, you are a friggin' prodigy! I love that color, you want to sell it?! haha It's nice, I would use that in a heartbeat... Or hang it on the christmas tree, whichever... Quote
BIG M Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Jon, the painting looks better with each and every bait. Quote
Fishwhittler Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Amazing work. I like the blue marks on the gill plate. Quote
ABLE2DISABLE1 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Steady hands, and an eye for detail,Great job. Quote
tholmes Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 That's almost too pretty to throw in the lake! Tom Quote
BobP Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Those blue squiggles turned out just dandy. IMO many baits end up with too much blue, and yours doesn't. You have a flair for this, Jon. Quote
stalking coyote Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Not sure how the bass in Illinois would respond to that paint job... better send it me and let me try : Great job!!! Quote
