I've got a 5 wt fly rod for trout, but recently I've been getting in to throwing heavy streamers for trout and bass. I'm now looking into buying a 6 weight with a fast action for chuckin heavy buggers ~40 feet. Also I would not like to spend too much- 100-200 max. Already have a 5/6 Lamson liquid that I would buy another spool for. Any suggestions?

Personally i would go with a 7wt, the difference between a 5 & 6 isn't that much but the difference between a 5 & 7 is much better.  As far as rods go, I am a sage guy but I have cast quite a few different TFO models and they are good sticks.  I want to say they are closer to the top end of your range though.

The Okuma SLV is under $100, if you want to look into that.  I'm not trying to sound like a "know it all" nor am I the best angler but I would suggest going up to a higher weight if you're looking to do bass fishing w/ the fly rod.  To me, I consider weights 6-7 like a "no man's land" of fly rods.  It's too big for stream trout and it's too small to throw decent sized bass flies.  You can use your 5 weight for stream trout and get an 8 or 9 weight for bass.  That way, you can fish for stripers on the 9 weight and, if you really want to get crazy, you can also fish for smaller muskies with a 9 weight as well.  A 6 weight is going to be too small to throw nice sized bass flies (striped bass flies too) but too big to have any fun w/ stream trout.  Just my two cents, buddy.

Problem is most low priced rods skip the seven weight for some reason. I wouldn't want to step up to an eight weight as that just seems like way more than I need. Also I have an echo carbon 5 wt, a pretty slow rod for graphite, so I figure that a faster 6 wt would be different enough. Not sure though, that's why I'm on this site! Thanks flyfisher.

A faster 6 wt might work but not sure it would be in your price range.  I would go cast some rods at a shop.   They may even have some older models laying around that they want to get rid of for a decent price.
