LAURASDAD Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 Hello, For those that wacky rig their Senkos, do you use a 2 or 2/0 hook? Would be nice if I could use the same hook for wacky as T rig. thanks Larry Quote
bassdocktor Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 I use either a 1/0 or 2/0 depending on how thick the senko is or how big it is. Alot of times I just use the same offset hook that I would if it were a texas rig. Actually alot of the guys I fish with do too. Gives you more versatility because you can always switch from wacky to t-rig. bassdocktor Quote
justfishin Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 I just use a 2/0 wide gap Gammy. I buy them because you can use them for 6" worms too. They work great for me and I have never had a problem. If you wanted to be more specific for your Wacky rig ( I only use the 5 1/8 to 6 " ones ) you could use a 2/0 or 3/0 Mosquito hook. Quote
buckdawg Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 does anyone use those circle hooks? i've heard those are supposed to be a good choice for wacky rigging. Quote
bassdocktor Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 The closest I get to that is knowing a few guys that use drop shot hooks for wacky rigging. Quote
