Favorite Fluorocarbon For Spinning Gear

What is your favorite fluorocarbon you use on your spinning setup? Im looking for something strong, sensitive and with as little memory as possible. Also, what pound test would you use for throwing weightless plastics, jigs, senkos and shakey heads on spinning gear?

I like P-line fluoroclear. It's technically a copolymer with a fluorocarbon coating, but I use it in place of fluoro and it is fantastic!

Flouro for spinning reels will have stretch, nothing you can do about that. However there is benefits to sensitivity due to its density especially on slack line. Personally I have the best luck with Seaguar Invizx in 8lb in everything you list except jigs. I go with baitcast gear for those.

it has a lot less line stretch and better knot strength but still sinks and is invisible underwater.

Sunline Sniper Super FC 7lb test, gets a bit of twist and memory, responds well to KVD l&l treatment. But great knot strength, tough as nails for its diameter.

However earlier this year I spooled up Tatsu in 8lb test, handles better with less memory and twist, still strong ant tough. It's more expensive though.

I've used Invizix as well in 8lb test but didn't care for the amount of stretch it exhibited.

I've used pline floroclear a lot in the past in 8lb test but got one bad bulk spool and several bad filler spools where the line had an odd wavy texture and would snap in odd random places if you looked at it funny. Since then I've moved on.

Before I switched to braid + leader, I used PLine Halo. Then I used it for my leader. It seemed to be the softest of any of the fluoros I've tried.

Berkley 100% Fluorocarbon XL is great on spinning reels. It does seem to have a bit more stretch, but that was in 6 lb test. I was really impressed with the lack of memory in it.

7lb sniper from sunline is the best I have used. I've not used Tatsu. Another poster had a good post on the two.

ive tried berkley 100%, PLine  fluorocarbon and sunline sniper and my favorite is the sunline sniper out of those 3.

6# invizX or 7# sniper it's a toss up from my experience. Without saying names every other FC I tried was a real pita in the management department.

7# Sniper works great and is 1st choice. 8# invizx works good and I have used red label as well. If you spool it right several will work for you. Need the right rod to get the most out of these lines and baits.

For me, Sniper is best and I do a ton of spin fishing. But supposedly Tatsu is even better. I just can't bring myself to make the switch.
