I got my super-deep purple crank topcoated (sorry about the lousy pic) and I also finished up some poppers. The purple popper is foiled and then sprayed purple using Krylon X-metals paint.

Ben, very cool looking poppers.   My poppers never worked right because the clear coat filled in the cup

face and I would loose the pop.

Thanks Big M. On the poppers, I didn't try to cup the mouth; I just left it as a notch. I haven't tested them after topcoating yet but they should work as they still have a fairly deep notch. Maybe a deeper cup in your poppers it would fix the problem of epoxy building up and destroying the action.
