Pettis Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Looking to upgrade a spinning rod, and I cannot decide between the GLX or NRX. I have heard that the GLX JWR were preferred by a lot of folks for spinning, and was hoping to get some feedback from you guys. I will be using it in 8-20ft of water mostly rock and some brush. 60% 1/8-1/4 shaky head, 30% light trigs, 10% mojo rigged worms. Considering 852jwr and 822syr but wide open to other suggestions. As always, any advice is greatly appreciated. Quote
Solution Lucky Craft Man Posted August 31, 2015 Solution Posted August 31, 2015 These questions are always easy. G Loomis NRX 852S JWR. That is the most versitile spinning rod for almost every technique that calls for a spinning rod. As a side note: I have this rod in both the GLX and NRX version and the NRX is noticeably more sensitive. 4 Quote
