NotnatsSamoht Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Nice truck, love dodge, miss my old truck now. Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted August 31, 2015 Super User Posted August 31, 2015 That is just like my first truck. Mine was red and silver. Loved that truck until the short shaft on the front axle went pop. Quote
Super User retiredbosn Posted August 31, 2015 Super User Posted August 31, 2015 I would suggest frame reinforcement as one of the upgrades. That truck's engine has enough torque to bend the frame, I found out the hard way! When Dodge redesigned the truck in 94 the Cummins equipped trucks all received a new redesigned frame to handle the engine and the engine was detuned a bit. I am surprised that truck lasted 22 years without frame damage. Good luck on the build. Quote
zachb34 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Deffinetly one of the truck on my bucket list to own. I'm a heavily biased Mopar guy and currently drive a 2005 ram with a Hemi. Hopefully when my wallet allows for a new toy it'll be either a first gen cummins like this, or a Warlock. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted September 2, 2015 Super User Posted September 2, 2015 What color is in its future? Quote
Super User Catt Posted September 2, 2015 Author Super User Posted September 2, 2015 What color is in its future? It's a toss up between orginal & total black out! Quote
Super User Raul Posted September 2, 2015 Super User Posted September 2, 2015 It's a toss up between orginal & total black out! My 1993 Ram Chargers SUV is "black", and I say "black" because 99% of the time it´s some shade of grey. Black is a beautiful color when clean but it only last clean like a day. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted September 2, 2015 Super User Posted September 2, 2015 Very cool. Looking forward to the finished product. Quote
Super User Catt Posted September 3, 2015 Author Super User Posted September 3, 2015 Robert the truck is originally from Riverside Cali, my son is only the third owner. I have a friend who owns Hurricane Off Road who will do a 2" lift, suspension, & stacks! Quote
Super User slonezp Posted September 3, 2015 Super User Posted September 3, 2015 It's a toss up between orginal & total black out! I'm seeing red. Throw a stepside bed with finished wood inlays and finished wood stakes. It will be the only extended cab Lil Red Express Quote

Super User gardnerjigman Posted September 3, 2015 Super User Posted September 3, 2015 There was a truck like this too at some local mud runs. It' was painted General Lee orange. Looked freaking awesome with blacked out wheels and heat blacked stacks! Quote
