Just Occurred To Me ,have A Rod Built.. Who Will Build It?

Hey guys, I'm really secretly obsessing over a rod, a Gan Craft dead sword made to fish the Jointed claw 178. First of all, what blank does Gan Craft use to make that rod and what makes it the perfect glide bait rod? I can't spend 700 on a rod. It's absurdly expensive.

Chime in if you're interested in taking on the project. Love to get some input and discuss details. Forgive me, I don't know who on here is a rod builder , never pay attention to the subject.

Thanks,

Stu

seems to be a fast powered rod which is what you want for glide baits . take a look at Phenix's Ultra 7'9'' heavy powered fast action swimbait blank , rated 1-5 oz. . then you can pick out the bling you want for the handle and such like JDM rods , you should have a very comparable rod for a lot less then JDM prices .

just noticed this is related to the other post you have going that i responded to , in the other post i recomended the Phenix Recon 2  7'9'' heavy / fast rodrated for up to 2 1/2 oz, well that rod would definitely throw those baits(glide baits) well , the rod i recommended above would be very good for those baits and also handle bigger baits . whatever you choose , get a fast action rod , not a moderate fast rod !!
