Will be heading to the Big Easy in October for our 30th anniversary. Made a deal with the boss. She can hit the casinos one day if I can find a way to get out bass fishing. Reds would be O.K. Googled and can't find a whole lot of info on bass but quite a bit on reds. There is a park that is supposed to have some nice fish in it but I will not be bringing any tackle. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly apprecited. Would be week of the 12th. Any members willing to spend a day with a fellow member? Willing to more than split expenses and can reciprocate in Northern Il.

Thanks in advance.

If I wasn't going to be out of town I'd be all over this.

There isn't any bass charters down here but if reds is on the menu I would highly recommend bourgeois fishing charters.

If bass is the target then I would suggest fishing the lagoons in city park on foot. Lots of water and decent fish. Had a guy catch a 9+ bass there on the 26th.

A worm rod is all you really need.

Our plans have changed.

We are now going to San Diego the week of October 26th.

I appreciate your help and still want to get down there one day soon.
