Delaware Valley Tackle Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I have one to test tomorrow. I'll snap a pic then. In the meantime look this over: http://anglersresource.net/StaticLoadTutorial.aspx Secure the spine finder you got to a bench Mount the rod with a reel and line thru the guides Tie a paper clip to a length of twine and hook it thru the frame or ring of the top tighten the line to put a 90* bend in the rod and secure it with a weight Tie a 1/2 oz or so weight to the fishing line and let it dangle putting just enough tension on the line to take out any slack. Move the guides as necessary to achieve a line flow closely matching the curve of the rod Once satisfied, mark where each guide is and proceed with wrapping Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I tried but didn't post it since Scott's is much clearer. If you haven't, do some reading here for answers to lots of questions: http://rodbuilding.org/list.php?2 Quote
WPCfishing Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Pic looks good... Build it like you see fit. It's your custom. Keep the pics coming.. I enjoy the progress reports too. Quote
