Looking to buy new jigs for heavy cover and are *** jigs the way to go? The only thing that's holding me back are the dual plastic hook guards, will they ruin my hook sets? Any info will help, just trying to spend my money wisely.

Thanks

Not sure what type of jigs your using, but dual plastic guards sounds wonky, and I wouldn't have confidence in it.  I know a few good jig makers, message me if your interested

Absolutely not. I really enjoy fishing these jigs. I throw them in heavy cover without having to worry if I am going to get hung up.

I don't mind those in heavy timber but not grass. I've found they don't work as good for grass but they do get good hooksets

IIRC, there was an issue with someone spamming about these, so they got 'blocked'.

I've only used one, but with good results.  I haven't thrown it in much grass, but it has done very well in rocks and timber.  Hooksets have not been a concern, whatsoever.

The owner and some of his friends have spammed the website after numerous

"conversations". They are gone now and the company is persona non grata around

here.

Let's move on.
