smr_hga Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 I am planning to go to a Marlins or Dolphins game down in Miami since i have never been there. Of course, i might as well bring my rod along considering there are exotic fish like peacock bass, snakehead, tilapia, etc that i don't have acess to where i am. So i am wondering where are some good spots for these species and how can i catch them? Quote

smr_hga Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 Where about's will you be staying? I will just be driving by. I'm coming from Daytona if that helps. Also i'll have to fish from land there. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 27, 2015 Super User Posted August 27, 2015 With the hurricane out in the Atlantic, the mutton snapper should be pushed in towards shore. I got the all clear from my doc to go fishing if I feel up to it, bass fishing in the hot summer when I got snook all over the place now. If I fish it's not gong to be for bass. 1 Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 30, 2015 Super User Posted August 30, 2015 Feeling pretty decent this morning and had planned to go snook fishing, having the outgoing tide and a healthy east wind conditions are good. With Erika breaking up I have a monsoon over my house right now. A little bummed as I have a good spot in mind where I can pull a fish up at a ramp, I may give it a shot if the rain eases up. Quote

Super User soflabasser Posted September 24, 2015 Super User Posted September 24, 2015 Fish any canal in Kendall/Homestead region and you will have a good chance of catching many different species of exotics. Quote
