Super User skunked_again Posted August 23, 2015 Super User Posted August 23, 2015 Any ideas on what those 2 handles do? Quote
Super User Scott F Posted August 23, 2015 Super User Posted August 23, 2015 Don't they give a guy sitting in the middle seat something to hold on to while the driver is ripping along at high speed? 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 23, 2015 Global Moderator Posted August 23, 2015 No idea what the handles are for other than something to hold onto. Sweet new boat though skunked! Seems like all the KC area guys have bought boats in the last 2 years. 1 Quote
Tim Kelly Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Ejector seat release cords. Don't mess with them. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 23, 2015 Global Moderator Posted August 23, 2015 Oh Shat handles!!! My 4 year old niece calls them "AHHH!!" handles 2 Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted August 23, 2015 Super User Posted August 23, 2015 Yep, handles for the non-drivers to somewhat remain in the seat during the "fun" rides...had to use those on a few occasions Quote

Seems like all the KC area guys have bought boats in the last 2 years. That is Reggie's first boat and I like to know what everything does. I didn't mess with the handles much but for some reason I was thinking seat release or something. Eject a**hole in boat sounds good too. 1 Quote
tbone1993 Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 If you don't know what those do I suggest you don't try to fix anything yourself on the boat lol 1 Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted August 24, 2015 Super User Posted August 24, 2015 As stated before, they are the "oh crap" handles. Quote
Jdw2920 Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 That's a good looking ranger they are definitely top of the line in my eyes Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted August 26, 2015 Super User Posted August 26, 2015 Staying firmly planted in the seat on rough water is a very good thing. Those handles are essential if you are going to do that. Your back will thank you... Quote

I'll keep that in mind. Quote
