UKCATSBASSER Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 The ended up taking 15% off a stradic ci4+ I wanted. Sweet. Quote
UKCATSBASSER Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I thought the shimano would be excluded. Quote
Super User CWB Posted September 4, 2015 Super User Posted September 4, 2015 I agree with Dwight at the earliest Sunday but I would say Monday - it will last a few days so the bait monkey will have plenty of time to take over. A link on the homepage where (currently) have the Diawa rods/reels, keitech noisy flapper, Simms pro dry, it will show up there. Just click it and once you add an item the discount will show up in the cart. Check your email and the site. It's on! 1 Quote
ABW Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Strange.. looks like Lucky Craft is on sale too. Must... resist.... Quote
desmobob Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Even the stuff that is already on sale is 15% off. I just snagged one of those Kistler Magnesium rods for $93. :-) TW got $215 of my business today. They are a great outfit to deal with; I've never had anything but great service from them. Tight lines, Bob Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted September 5, 2015 Super User Posted September 5, 2015 Woo-hoo!! 15% off and -$5 from a coupon code......leaves me at $72. Not too shabby. And I get a sticker. Too bad I didn't need more expensive stuff this time (just lures), but there will come other sales... Quote
Balshy Fishing Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Imagine you only have a fixed amount of money to spend, let's say...150.00. How would you spend that on TW during their Labor Day sale? Also, how would you order IF you were still trying to 'build' your arsenal. Lastly, I'm debating on buying a Duckett ghost spinning rod but i'm not 100% sure. I want to spend under 100$ on a new spinning rod. Any suggestions?! Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted September 5, 2015 Super User Posted September 5, 2015 With 15% off from the sale, a ghost should be under $100, no? Quote
Balshy Fishing Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 With 15% off from the sale, a ghost should be under $100, no? It is, it comes to 84.00 BUT they only have it in M & MH and I already have an Abu Garcia Vengeance MH. I could get a M and dedicate it to purely worms. Hmmm Quote
ABW Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 The possibilities are endless. Telling you what we would buy would do you no good. We fish different waters, and we don't know what you already have / don't have. 1 Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted September 5, 2015 Super User Posted September 5, 2015 Well, what are you looking for, specifically? Do you want a Ghost spinning rod just to have one, or because it fits a need you have? If the latter, what is that need? Quote
ABW Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I am going to try to resist the monkey during this sale. I'll let you guys know how it works out... Quote
Balshy Fishing Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Well, it's a higher quality rod and I need one of those. I'm currently throwing worms and stuff on my 6'6 MF Shimano Sojourn(spinning) Quote
microotter Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Does anyone here have any experience with the Halo Twilight black rods? I read somewhere that Halo rods have slower actions. I never saw one in person though. Quote
Joe H. Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I made a $250 order last Tuesday, was pretty mad when I realized I could've gotten the discount if I would've waited a little longer. Totally forgot about the sale this year. ;( Quote
