Hello everyone,

I'm a fishing newbie and would like some input starting out. Does anyone have any suggestion for pairing a Shimano Sedona 1000 or 2500 with a rod that can be taken apart in 2 pieces? I live in the city and need something portable. Thanks!

There are a multitude of 2 piece rods to choose from. What is your budget? What species are you fishing for, what weights and type lures do you mostly throw. More info will definitely help everyone with what they would reccomend

With 2 piece rods you loss sensitivity and durability. I would stick to a one piece.

I prefer 1 piece, with previous cars I could put a 7'6 rod on top of the seats.   My cars now have a trunk pass thru, about any length is good up to 10'
