Well guys, this was the toughest roster for me to pick yet. It's at the end of the season, and all the guys on fire are in Bucket A, all the guys who are doing well in Bucket B, all the guys in a Funk (or were in Bucket E and are doing better) in bucket C and D, and the guys who are plain out stinking in bucket E.

I spent a lot of time on statistics and such. In the end, here are my picks. St. Clair will probably be another one of those dropshot fisheries.

A: Cliff Pirch.

Cliff has done very well at Havasu and the St. Lawrence River, and St. Clair sets up nicely for him. He is not a popular fantasy pick, yet he killed it at Havasu and did well for me at the St. Lawrence River. I expect good things out of Cliff.

B: Brandon Card

Brandon has been doing well on the up-north fisheries, and is a dark horse at 2.7%. I'm confident he can make the top 50 cut or better.

C: Chad Pipkens

My strategy is to always pick one favorite and/or local pro per tournament. Last one was Jacob Powroznik. This time Pipkens is my bet. He's been on fire lately, and he knows St. Clair pretty well.

D: Mike Kernan

Total gamble here. He has done okay at the previous tournaments. This was a tough bucket.

E: Cliff Pace

All the guys in Bucket E are doing terribly, and so I just picked a guy I liked. Who knows, maybe he'll turn around and get a top twelve :D. It's important to me to pick a guy at the top of Bucket E, which means he either dropped down from D or is moving up. He's owned by 20%, but I'll stick with him.

Looking forward to this one!

A lot of these guys will run to Erie for giant smallies.  The risk is not being able to make the long run back in rough water, (cost A-Mart the win here in 2013.)  Some guys will go for largemouth on St. Clair too.

Mark Davis had a nice stringer last year on Erie. I would give Hackney and A-Mart some serious consideration too.

It's hard not to pick amart, as this sets up for him and he needs to finish strong. But I'm a dark horse person, that's how I've gotten where I am now and I have a hard time not sticking to it.

A - Jason Christie

B - Mark Davis

C- Brett Hite

D- Fletcher Shryrock

E - Kotaro Moody

My strategy for bucket E was going to be pick the guy who lives the farthest north. But that was Casey Scandlin so I scratched that idea. This will be a fun tournment fantasy wise seeing how precious winner include Christie, Lane and Davy Hite. (Yes I ment to say Davy Hite)

I need to have a good tournament.  I picked Martens, Davis, Pipkens, Remitz and Hawk, hopefully they won't kill me this week.

I officially SUCK. Like, I have failed day one of this tournament. Can't believe I'm finishing out my fantasy year with a terrible day like this. Should have picked JVD......and yesterday, I went and looked for Alton Jones to see where he was, because I knew he would do well, but I stuck with Cliff Pirch. UGHHHH

I picked Faircloth this time around and it's working for me. Also had nate wellman and Kevin hawk who both had respectable showings.

Josh Bertrand was a risky pick but I didn't see anyone else in bracket who stood out for st clair. He was a bust. I also picked Ehler as he is a hell of a fisherman and I figured he was due for result...but just missed 50 cut.

As of yesterday I gained 5%. Better than losing it.

I had my worst tourney of the year. Dropped to 92%. Some meager 600 points or something. Can't do well every time. Picking dark horses wasn't the problem, picking the right ones was :D

I felt bad for BP, he fished a great tournament and had a great season.  At the same time, I was happy for Faircloth too, he's had a tough year and this finish will give him a shot to sneak into the Classic.  His weights got bigger every day while most everyone else's dropped.

What can you say about Aaron Martens?  He's had one of the most dominating seasons in Elite history.  He's always been a great fisherman but he's finally got the mental toughness needed to take it to the next level.   It's been awesome to watch and with BASS Live, you finally can.
