Super User DogBone_384 Posted August 17, 2015 Super User Posted August 17, 2015 Anyone notice a considerable price increase in 4" & 5" Senkos here? I sure did while shopping their website this evening. I know they want to push their home brands, but to me, this is a little much. I checked their competitors and their pricing is unchanged (for now, I guess.) Quote
jonnyblazex Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 My local Gander Mountain had them for about $5 a pack advertised as "Everyday Low Price", which is not cheap, but the cheapest around the area. I was buying them all spring and summer from there, when I went back in and seen they were $8 a pack now. At least they finally re filled the selection now, there were about 3 different colors left last I looked, and they weren't in a hurry to re stock, I go in there weekly!! Quote
FinCulture Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Just go with Zoom baits. Usually 3 bucks a pack and better quality IMO. 1 Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted August 17, 2015 Super User Posted August 17, 2015 Academy has them for $5.99 http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/gary-yamamoto-5-senko-soft-baits-10-pack?repChildCatid=106556 Quote
Fun4Me Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Academy is the cheapest major retail chain that I've see senkos recently. They're even more expensive a Wally World. Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted August 17, 2015 Super User Posted August 17, 2015 You'll notice that with everything BPS sells. Their prices on things are generally much higher than other places. 1 Quote

This isn't new, I noticed the increases 6 months ago. I guess BPS has picked up on the fact that many have migrated toward their product and demand is there sooooo... up goes the price... Quote
Super User bigbill Posted August 17, 2015 Super User Posted August 17, 2015 Buy what works. My hottest baits get discontinued. Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted August 18, 2015 Super User Posted August 18, 2015 He isn't meaning yamamoto senkos but store brand stick baits. It's ridiculous you may as well buy the yamas Quote
Big C Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 It's all supply and demand. They charge outrageous prices, because people will still buy them (not me). Quote
