Anybody know what the piece is called on a Spro frog that you tie to and the hook is on? Managed to loose the hook and line tie thingy to one of my frogs today to a branch. Can't find anything about them. Thanks!

I know Gamakatsu makes a double ewg frog hook, I would think it would work for your frog, but don't know for sure which size frog you have.  I have seen some at Walmart before, but never lost the hooks out of any of my frogs to replace them with.  http://www.*.com/Gamakatsu-Hooks-EWG-Frog-p/gamakatsu-hooks-ewgfrog.htm  A picture for reference.

I'm not going to ask how exactly you lost the hook and line tie, but kept the frog body. But, if you want to reuse the frog body. I would get replacement hooks from TW (probably Trokar) and instead of the "mysterious line tie thing that connects the line to the hook with no actual name" I would go with a large barrel swivel.

I have spare Gamakatsu frog hooks. Just need the line tie thingy's. Can't find them or what they are called anywhere.

I would try a barrel swivel before any thing else.

If you have an old frog, take the hook line tie off of that one. Before I retire any frog, I strip it down for parts. Hooks, line ties, skirts, etc.

Unfortunately don't have any frogs to retire or I would just do that. Might just have to wait till I do.

Yeah... I figured that. Just leave that one to the side until the next frog dies and you can use that frog for parts. Trust me, fish frogs long enough and you will have quite the frog graveyard. Lol!!

I hear ya! I have a few that have slight wear on them but they never really get torn up. Guess I need to catch bigger bass....lol. My Live Target Field Mice on the other hand have been torn to shreds! Can't keep the bass off of them and they are a lot softer than my frogs.
