How many of you guys take advantage of this?

"Recreational boaters who purchase taxed fuel for use in their boats may be able to get a refund of all or part of that 'highway use tax' depending on the state in which the fuel was purchased."

I haven't before but I'm going to start this year.  The highway gas tax is just getting ridiculous around here.

Never heard of this before. I just looked into it though and in WI "recreational motor boats" can't file for exemptions.

The only ones that qualify in Massachusetts are, or maybe were farmers and commercial fishermen.  It's possible the regs have changed.  The last time I filed for the tax rebate for commercial fishermen was in 1984.  Since then, ?????
