Super User scaleface Posted August 18, 2015 Super User Posted August 18, 2015 I know I have over 60 Rapala DT's just sitting brand new in a storage bin at my house. I buy whenever I find a good deal or whenever I can get my hands on a hard to find/discontinued color. If I had to guess, I've got over 200 lures easily still new in box just sitting at home, waiting for me to lose one of the current members of my tackle box lineup. I dont have as many as you but I buy them on clearance too , sometimes for as little as 25 cents . If there is a certain lure that excels in a certain situation , I will buy several at retail, like a chartreuse Bomber Flat A which just kills bass on the wing dams and riprap along the Mississippi river . Heron Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Everything I own, has been in the water while fishing. Even some things that werent meant to. But I have ONLY caught fish on ONE hardbait (thus far). That being, the Bill Dances Dancin Eel. No joke. Quote

Super User Raul Posted August 19, 2015 Super User Posted August 19, 2015 Looks like you could be The Regional Distribution Center in necessary. A-Jay I´m just trying to recreate the look of BPS´ bargain bins. For example: Risto Raps ( mainly ) at $1.99 a piece, man how can I refuse that ? 1 Quote
Drew03cmc Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 hold up.... if my wife is asking, i use them all and they all catch fish..... I am a creature of habit. If a Red Eye Spinnerbait caught a bass from a certain log in March thre Marches ago, I will toss it again. I have probably 80% of my hardbaits that haven't seen water. In the creeks up here, I toss plastics rigged weedless so I get them back. Quote
Musky_Fever Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I thought I was bad but after hearing some of you guys...I've done a pretty good job keeping Mr. Bait Monkey at bay. Some of you guys could open up a small fishing supply store. Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 21, 2015 Super User Posted August 21, 2015 If I fished another 50 yrs, I wouldn't have near the stuff as some people already have, I don't buy a lot of tackle. Quote
bigfruits Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 If I fished another 50 yrs, I wouldn't have near the stuff as some people already have, I don't buy a lot of tackle. you need to stop spending money on your other hobbies and get some new bass fishing toys! 1. maybe 75% 2. probably 50% have not been used Quote
