Fishwhittler Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I don't use DN, but I thought I would share this. http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/hard-baits/18235-dick-nite-top-coat-availability-lack.html Ben Quote
Steven Ladner Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Wouldn't have expected that, doesn't affect me though. I've never used DN after being told it would cure in the can if not taken care of correctly. I wonder if DN could make the ingredient that their supplier quit making. Either way, sorry for you guys that use that as your top coat. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted October 22, 2009 Super User Posted October 22, 2009 wow this really sucks cuz i know most of the guys that use DN really swear by it. i was thinkin of trying some out myself, guess i'm not now! haha ;D Quote
BobP Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 There are a lot of chemical makers, I think it will be a temporary problem. BTW, I use DN and spray a little Bloxygen finish preserver gas (mostly argon gas) in the jar after dipping lures. Bloxygen takes all the drama out of using and storing moisture cured polys like DN.
