Preytorien Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Nice fish! Neighborhood ponds can be great places to catch fish. 1 Quote
Super User bigbill Posted August 12, 2015 Super User Posted August 12, 2015 Nice. I find that most of the smaller places are unfished. I find them when riding my motorcycles on the country roads. One spot is a 4' Deep swamp with stumps it has so far yielded dinks to 3lbers and 12" to a 29" chain pickerel. There has to be larger bass there. There are so many unfished small bodies of water. Super User bigbill Posted August 12, 2015 Super User Posted August 12, 2015 Try a inline spinner, mepps, panther Martin, joesfly. Quote

Meldawg Posted August 13, 2015 Author Posted August 13, 2015 that little guy either got in a fight with a slime dart or the prop of my minn kota! this little pond too small for a minn kota. I have to believe as a little fella he got in a tussle with a turtle. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 14, 2015 Super User Posted August 14, 2015 I do quite a bit of pond fishing in my communtity ponds (some golf course) bass up to about 25" not uncommon, I use light power spinning or ul with a storm chug abug. I would catch more with a senko but don't care to fish them. Quote
Meldawg Posted August 14, 2015 Author Posted August 14, 2015 caught both of these on a senko real close to the bank Quote
