Just filled up this morning....$2.09....in Aurora IN., about 25 miles from my house in Cincinnati.

Still $2.69 in Cincy. They said our prices were high, because of a refinery problem in Indiana.

Funny how it's not affecting Indiana prices....lol.

I paid 10 bucks gallon one time because I needed it, would have paid 100.   Being as there was a language problem I had no idea how far the nearest Pemex was, wound up about 30 miles with a pump price of 9 bucks.

When I first went into business gas was about .50 (income was considerably less circa 1972) but my mileage was 2-4 mpg., around 10 mpg on  a car.  Didn't look at pump price than and I don't today.  My first diesel wasn't unttl the 80's, the improved mileage was negated every time those trucks were serviced.

IMO, fuel injection lighter vehicles, and electronic ignition, doubled my mileage of the early 70's.  I only have cars today,  they get better than 20 mpg.  At a 20 gal fill up, what I save with lower prices, doesn't amount to all that much.  My average fill ups are less than 20, my tank holds only 18.

Wouldn't be surprised to see gas go up rather fast from the last 3 days of trading increases. :(

It's geopoltical. Oil poised to drop 3% today, investors taking profits from recent surge.

Still only made it down to $2.44 so far here. Non-Ethanol gas jumped up $.20 to $2.91 a gallon, glad I filled the boat the day before.

It was $1.66/gallon Friday the 11th. I drove from Aiken SC to Union, WV that day. $1.66 was the cheapest I saw. FWIW, it was BP fuel, I went by the station today, think it was $1.68.
