Bryce_Fishin24 Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 At least you guys get to see gas prices in hi and low 2's... You'd be lucky to see that in Cali... 3.30 a gallon is a great deal! Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted August 23, 2015 Super User Posted August 23, 2015 The October contract should break through $40 this week http://www.cmegroup.com/trading/energy/crude-oil/light-sweet-crude.html Regular lead-free will drop below $2.00 throughout much of the USA. In other countries, like California, prices may come down a little, just not as much. Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted August 23, 2015 Super User Posted August 23, 2015 Yea, I been griping about this for 6 weeks now, 2.90 for cheap grade here, 3.39 for super, ( whats super about that! ) Quote

Super User retiredbosn Posted August 24, 2015 Super User Posted August 24, 2015 Gas is $1.90/gallon here, Aiken SC. Like I stated in other threads. The producers (Exxon, BP etc) know the market will support $2/gallon, Joe public doesn't watch gas prices like they should, and we will stay right around 2 bucks no matter the prove per barrel, jmo. Super User A-Jay Posted August 24, 2015 Super User Posted August 24, 2015 Gas is $1.90/gallon here, Aiken SC Hope we can get in on a little of that Action up here ~ I'll be fill all my tanks, cans & maybe even the bath tub . . . . A-Jay 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 25, 2015 Global Moderator Posted August 25, 2015 Dropped $.04 here today, down to $2.61. Of course I bought gas before it dropped thankfully it was just for the lawnmower though Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted August 25, 2015 Super User Posted August 25, 2015 I've lost more money in stock market this month than I have at the pump. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 25, 2015 Super User Posted August 25, 2015 I've lost more money in stock market this month than I have at the pump. same here. Unleaded gas futures have not come down, but the prediction is for a 20 cent drop. The lack of demand stations are still selling off existing inventory. Quote
Last_Cast Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 At these prices I might just buy a couple dogs and a sled Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 26, 2015 Global Moderator Posted August 26, 2015 Down $.04 more last night to $2.57. Hoping it drops a little more before I hit the road for some night fishing tonight. Boat's below half a tank too so hopefully it will get down considerably more before I fill the ol gal up. Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted August 26, 2015 Super User Posted August 26, 2015 $2.59 this morning. Down 30 cents from one fill-up to the next. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 27, 2015 Super User Posted August 27, 2015 The wti closed up 8% today,41.95. Pump price only indicates what we pay for gas, pretty much all people care about. To know why it varies one has to be aware of gas futures, supply and demand(gloabal)currencie prices and current world events. 1 Quote
