Atakawow Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Hi all. Just picked up bass fishing. I don't own a boat so any good suggestions for bank fishing spots around the King County area would be greatly appreciated. 1 Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 8, 2015 BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 8, 2015 Welcome Home! King Co. is big. Are you north, south, east? For starters, Green Lake actually has a decent largemouth bass population in it, and you can bank fish all the way around it. Sammamish is a great bass lake, but there really aren't any bank fishing opportunities there. Lake Washington is also a terrific fishery. holding both large and smallmouth bass. There are various bank fishing opportunities all around it. However, the arboretum isn't one of them. Yes, there's bank fishing, but the fish simply aren't there. Don't waste your time. Lake Union is another good lake. The better bank fishing opportunities are along the ship canal, near the lake, and also Gasworks Park. 1 Quote

Atakawow Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 Thanks all! I've tried dropshotting and throwing t-rigged weightless senkos around Lake Washington (Coulons) and Lake Meridian without any luck. Any tips for a newbie? I'll give Green Lake a shot this weekend. 1 Quote
