Water temp was 52 at start and 56 when I left. No sign of any spawning activity where I was. I did manage to land 17 bass with 3 others coming unbuttoned at boatside. Most were around 1 lb with a few good ones in the mix. The largest bass came on a jig/craw - 4 lb 14 oz. Most came on a shallow crank. Heres the 4.14 That is insane nice job! Quote

NYBasser Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Had decent Largemouth and Smallmouth fishing upstate. Probably had about close to 40 fish, most of which were around the 1-2 lb range. Largest fish of the day was probably a 3.5lb - 4lb Smallie on a crank. Also fished a local pond on LI. Did okay with the Largies and ended up with around 10, biggest being probably 3lbs. Caught them flipping brush piles. 1 Quote
