for me they are killer during the summer months on the Tidal Potomac River (shallow water with tons of hydrilla, milfoil and spatterdock pads)

from this past Sunday

Great. I like Keitech Model III.

I'm into them too. I've done well with them with a 3.5" tube on them. I like the Strike King and Bass Pro Tournaments.

I've been using Siebert and Strike King jigs.

Fun bait to use. I really like the northern style ones.

Same here when a smaller profile is needed!

They're a staple. I fish a lot of public, pressured shore where the fish see spinnerbaits all day. The staple is a 3/8 oz Siebert bullet-style jig with a 4"-ish paddletail trailer. I favor bluegill patterns and the occasional blue/black.

get you some from siebert outdoors and you won't regret it.... high quality stuff and the fish dig them too....

I make my own, and they have been my most consistent producer for river smallmouth this year. I like to use the gambler ez or slophop by trigger x as trailers. There are a ton of paddletails that i would still like to try. I still havnt tried any of the keitech or dippers.

Yes, they are highly effective!

They are far and away the most effective for me. Worth a look on your next order somewhere...

Well, you can swim any jig.  A specialized jig is nice, but not needed.  I like to bring the bait across the tops of submerged grass and change up the retrieve as I reel it in.
