Not at all impressed with the newer triumph rods with the orange blank. Quote
kschultz76 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I've got one in the arsenal that was bought for my wife and used by guests as well. I sometimes use it in my kayak. I feel for the price they perform very well and are a great budget rod. I've landed many bass on it with 5" senkos. Quote

I decided to use my intuition when shopping and forgot about those lol well I got mine for 72 bucks and can't wait to try it out Quote
Turkey sandwich Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 That's a great deal. I've had a Premier that's built on the same blank for the past 15+ years and I still use it. That rod has some serious miles on it. Quote
nnbjkjk Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 The only spinning rod I've been using for the past 7 years. Great rod at a reasonable price. Quote
hoosierbass07 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I have a seven foot medium action Triumph spinning rod and it's one of my favorites. I think I paid $70 for it. When I look at new rods, in the back of my head I keep thinking maybe I should buy more Triumphs because my one Triumph has been solid the last few years. Quote

kschultz76 Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 The new orange one is the Triumph X, very different build then the original Triumph. Quote

Cgrinder Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Triumph spinning rods are legit. Versatile and inexpensive. Quote
