I just signed up for In-Fisherman... Had Bassmaster and let it expire..

I subscribed to In-Fisherman but let it run out because they're pretty "thin" and they cover all freshwater species, not just bass, so there was too much info on species I don't target (pike, catfish, walleye, etc).

For just bass I found the two best ones to be Bass Angler Magazine (BAM!) and FLW Bass Fishing.  Just all bass from cover to cover.

I have always liked feild and stream... Its usually half and half fishing and hunting but I really only care to read the fishing parts and its not always focused on bass sometimes its other species like muskie, trout, pike, walleye, etc..

I like it because the storys and articles are written fantastic and some of the story's they have are very good reads.

Bass angler magazine. I've subscribed to all the major ones n this is the best

I dont know if this gonna be any help but I'll throw it out there anyway.

I tend to like the Game and Fish magazines. NC Game and Fish in particular, due to the local aspect. They cover lakes, large and small, seasonal tactics, creel surveys and guide info....places close to home. You'll have to wade thru some seasonal hunting articles and salt water stuff too. But they seem to cover all the bases for the majority of sportsmen and they probably have a state specific mag for your neck of the woods too.

I would like to leave you with my only negative feelings. Game and Fish aint what they used to be. What once was a nice thick magazine is now half the size. I know they have some online stuff but it isnt the same to me. I have archived copies from YEARS ago that I reference all the time.

Another forum out west produces a good online mag, Bass Angler Mag, BASS TIMES (one of the better) and FLW, BASS etc. All the same info is online for free however.

I didnt know they still published bass times. If its the same format as it use to be it is a good one . Bassmaster ,  I subscribed to it for decades  and let it expire this year. They adopted the Maxum magazine format and I wasnt reading them cover to cover like I use to. It got to the point where I would go through the first twenty pages and not get to an article and just lay it down and never finish it .

I, like many others here, got Bassmaster for a number of years but I've also let it run out. It just didn't seem as if I was getting the "quality" info that I feel I get from Bass Angler Mag. It's the only one I currently subscribe to.

I like to subscribe for a year to a magazine then cancel and pick another one and subscribe, then repeat.  I just let BassMaster expire.  So I'll sign up again to In-Fisherman or some other magazine, maybe MidWest Outdoors.

Still have all the old Bass West magazines (when they first started).  Was a great magazine...now I enjoy FLW.  Mama says I need to get rid of em.

I'm subscribed to Bassmaster Magazine and I absolutely love it. It gives page after page of tips on bass fishing and bass fishing only from pro anglers and personnel across the country. I've never gotten bored from the magazines that they've sent me so far.

FLW: Had it for 5 years but recently let it expire. I did not care for it because there is so much publication in the magazines that seemed to target people who fish FLWs which I do not.

Bassmaster is pretty good. Not as boring as FLW in my opinion. The anglers they showcase are much more established generally than the anglers FLW showcase.

Bassin'. I love this magazine. Its got good articles from the best anglers in the business. Lots of big photos. Its cheap when you consider you get it free with a one year MLF subscription. No complaints so far.

Bass Quest: I had this for one year and felt that it was not worth the money. Although the magazine is rather thick I think you only get like 4 mags a year. The content in these magazines is very hit and miss. I like photos and I recall that there would be pages and pages of content without any photos.

In-Fisherman: I have had this off and on for a number of years. I usually am gifted these subscriptions from people who know I fish. I am not a multi-species guy so I don't particularly care to pay for this magazine but it has great articles, good photos, and good information.

I love this site because it offers more than any of the magazines out there.. It's nice to have a Northeast fishing section too... At least here I can read more about fishing lakes up north than in a Bassmaster or and FLW magazine..This site is the main reason I am letting both of them expire. . The wife got me a subscription to In Fisherman for my birthday. . Looking forward to their articles..

Got my first issue of In-Fisherman. . Love the fact they feature smallmouth articles and fishing up here in the northeast.. especially the articles of other types of fish..

My vote is the "In-Fisherman" magazine.

Their magazine is a multi-species publication,

but they're nonetheless on the leading edge of bass fishing.
