Live bait?

I started out using live bait. At the cost of $50+ a week. We fished just about every night at the time.

One night I had a strike while reeling in a nightcrawler. The bass told me they wanted something moving. We put on mepps #3 Anglia spinners.

I started using two rod setups one live bait and one lure. Soon the lure rod started to out fish the live bait rod. I put the $50 I saved by not using live bait into buying lures.

I find it a challenge as to what lure is hot today. It's fun.

The closest one I know of is in Winchester. Jake'S bait and tackle. The only other one I know of is the bait shop on Lake Frederick south of Winchester.
