Very interesting video and I appreciate the effort. But I have to ask the question..."why"?

seems like he could have spent all that time rigging fishing instead.  I know he said it doesn't impact the capability of the boat but with a 450lb capacity that set up has to add 100lbs.  I mean for that much work, i would get a jon boat myself.  i want to see him launch the boat and how long it takes to set everything up each time out.

Nice install. My 20 years in the car audio industry tells me he might have been or still be an installer. The wireless receiver, plywood, and closed cell foam are also clues.

Good for him...

Nice detail with the shrink tubing on his battery terminals.

Perhaps he is a computer programmer by trade - used to thinking in terms of zeros and ones.  He has no speed control - it's either ON or OFF   ;)

At least he has forward AND reverse...

Want to see some really impressive rigs, go to FB motorized kayak group. Those guys know how to do it!

This is badass.  So ripping it off if I get the funds.

Very creative but if your going to do all that, get a boat.
