I just bought a new jig rod and I'm looking for a good quality bait casting reel for under 100$

If it's red that would be great but it's not a deal breaker by no means.

Lew's speed spool tournament is on sale at cabelas for $99. You won't be able to get a better reel for the same price

Good Advice, i.e. you can find the tatula for easily under 100$ if you look, and maybe even under 90$ if you search hard or buy secondhanded.

The Okuma Ceymar and Cerros are good reels under 100$.  I bought a Ceymar (54$) for my son who is just starting to use a baitcaster and found it to be a darn nice reel for the money. I also own a Cerros (99$) myself and really like it.

Both would look great on your Vendetta rod.

I also have never met a Lews baitcaster I didn't like and there are a few to choose from under the 100$ mark.

I just got the Lews Speed Spool, and man it is sweet. light and quiet, I am use to my old reel having several back lashes  each outing, but never once with this reel, I am very impressed with this reel, and will not buy any other.

I got mine on sale at American Legacy, it is normally $99.00, but they have it on sale for $79.99, so hard to pass it up.

I agree with duckmaster, I've had my Lews speed spool LFS for about a month now and I love it! It's light, very smooth and can cast a lure a mile. It will cast a weightless senko quite a ways as well. I also have a Daiwa exceler as well that is pretty solid, I use it for jigs/frogs.

Two reels I would recommend right at the $100 dollar price point are the Lew's Speed Spool and an Abu Garcia Orra SX. I have experience with bother of the reels and have no complaints with either reel

H20 ;)

Agreed. I have 3 H2O Mettles, most I paid for any of them is $40. I've had one for going on 4 years that gets used a ton and just keeps on trucking. I haven't cleaned it, oiled or greased anything. I paid $29 for it, I didn't expect it to last long enough to need cleaned  :laugh5:
