You are not sure where you will be fishing or what the weather conditions will be.

What gear will you use

Casting and Creature. Havoc Pitboss FTW! T-rig that bad boy and pitch it at everything I can or work it deep like a jig. Then take the weight off and burn it on the top. Then hook it sideways and fishing it like a swim jig. Many options, but this is just my preference.

Spinning and Plastic Worm (or Senko) for me.

I voted for BC/other. But really, I can't limit myself to only 5 lures in one 2-hour session. Then I take another box with several other options in the kayak with me. You just never know.

ML spinning rod and a rooster tail.

I basically limit myself to soft plastics anyway and the only combo I have is a casting combo, so I guess I'm good.

Just curious, is there a logical reason/use for a poll like this?

I think they're fun :)  Kind of cool to see what other anglers prefer and such.

Yep!^ If I had only one combo and one lure, it would be a ML spinning rig with an inline spinner. I prefer Panther Martin, but a Roostertail would do the jojb too.

Agreed. Obviously you won't be that limited, but it's just seeing what other people would choose.

What do you like about the Panther Martin over the Rooster Tail? I haven't tried any others and just wonder what the differences are between all the inline spinners.

^^^  Inline spinners are indeed great.  I have more inlines than spinnerbaits actually.

Panther Martin, Worden's, Mepps, Blue Fox...the brands vary a bit in components and their "main styles" of inline spinners.  But they're all good.  I also have some of those ultra cheap South Bend spinners that produce for me.

I like Worden's white Rooster Tail if forced to choose among my spinner brands/types on any given day...catches everything on the river I fish :)

Give me a medium spinning rod and some trick worms and I'll be happy

X2 X2 lol!
