BDfishing Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Spinning to start with first, Don't want to start out with Hi-Mods, would like to do a few & probably will mess up a few times, better on a less expensive rod Quote
Super User MickD Posted July 30, 2015 Super User Posted July 30, 2015 You have many choices, the RX 6 Batsons, the Mudhole line of unexpensive blanks (CRB?), JannsNetcraft has some inexpensive blanks, and I've probably forgotten a few other options. 2 Quote
Hogsticker Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Rainshadow Revelation spinning rod blanks are like 35 bucks, and something you may actually want to keep when moving on to more expensive blanks. 1 Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 All good options. On a really tight budget, the CRB blanks are better than the price might lead you to believe. 1 Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted August 1, 2015 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted August 1, 2015 One of my personal favorite rods is built on an RX-6 blank that I paid $30 for. 1 Quote
Batson Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 At the risk of sounding redundant and like a salesman, I second the RX6 and Revelation suggestions. Our lower priced blanks are not low value and we take great pride in the fact that they perform at a very high level. You won't be left wanting for the proper aciton or power, and certainly not for durability. -Geoff batsonenterprises.com Quote
