Trim Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Well last boat I asked about fell through. Going to check this one out tomorrow. Going for a water test as well. If everything checks out what do you all think about price? Has a hummingbird 686 and helix 5 on it as well http://joplin.craigslist.org/boa/5142748437.html Quote
GodfatherOfSeoul Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 That's a sweet deal. Where i live, guys try and sell their jon boats for that price on craigslist. ..lol. but I really hope that works out for you. Keep us updated! Quote
Karma Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Not bad. I was never a fan of the bass tracker boats until my cousin got one. I always preferred the larger fiberglass boats and then he bought his. He never has to worry about the transom rotting out, they are simple and easy to work on. We rewired all of the electronics on his in a matter of hours. I have already made up my mind that for my next boat I am going to go with an aluminum hull. I think you will enjoy it. Quote
stkbassn Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Wow, nice little boat there! I wouldn't be ashamed to pull up to the ramp with that behind me. Good luck, looks like a winner. Definitely check NADA value. Quote
Trim Posted July 30, 2015 Author Posted July 30, 2015 Thanks for input guys. I'll let you know how it goes tonight! Quote
RHuff Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Yes NADA will verify the retail price of the boat when it first hit the marked as well as the current price the boat is worth. Quote
NathanW Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Would not be surprised if that is a scam add. The first picture looks a little pixilated and they did not leave any contact information. Notice that you cannot zoom in on the photo to see what state the boat is licences in? Otherwise that boat looks awesome. Every year I have my Pro Team 175 I like it more and more. I have considered trading up slightly to this boat so many times. I would probably say the right price for that boat is closer to $6000.00 maybe slightly less. My boat was 12 years old when I bought it and only cost me 4200.00 but a foot shorter and 30HP less also. I have noticed however that prices seem to be increasing on average so maybe that is the right price. NADA may have figured things out in the last few years but they used to under value boats significantly to the point that offered NADA for a boat it was very insulting. Hopefully it works out. Quote
Trim Posted July 31, 2015 Author Posted July 31, 2015 Just got back with my new boat . Could not talk the guy off of $6500 which honestly I couldn't blame him. The boat is extremely clean, very well taken care of. Took it for a drive and it everything checked out great. Happy with the deal! Quote
GodfatherOfSeoul Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Good stuff. I'm glad! Blessings to you 1 Quote
NathanW Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Congrats!! Very glad it worked out you are going to love it. Just an FYI if you cannot fit longer rods in the rod locker its an easy fix. Pull off the top deck and cut out the foam that is in the way. Mine had to be modified to fit rods as short as 7' rods and now it can easily fit 8 foot rods. I know a couple other guys that own trackers who had to do the same thing. Would love to know how fast it runs with just you in it. 1 Quote

If you click the reply button on the craigslist ads, that is where you will find the contact info most of the time. There was a name and number in that. OP- Glad the boat worked out for you and I'm sure you'll get many years enjoyment out of it! 1 Quote
