So I made an omelet tonight for dinner (yes it was delicious) and wanted to put the egg "carton" to good use. This works great! If you're the kind of person that has their lures open and ready to grab, then this is a great way to save money and keep the organized. I have a small collection of treble baits, so for me it works. Also great for display!

I love finding ways to have "second uses" for stuff so this was pretty good. As others mentioned above - good for display perhaps.

Wouldn't work for me however as my crankbaits don't display very well; they tend to have snot grass hanging on the trebles, chips in the paint, and the aroma of fish slime... ;)

It's becoming an EGG-splosive situation.

As for bonnets for treble hooks. My favorite are the soft yellow plastic ones from BPS. You get a lot of them and for a good price. The only problem is they take up a lot off room in your box as they are bulky.
