Super User iceintheveins Posted July 30, 2015 Super User Posted July 30, 2015 Any 3" or 4" doubletail, I like the Zoom Creepy Crawlers and the Yamamotos the best. Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted July 30, 2015 Global Moderator Posted July 30, 2015 3" Mr. Twister! But I'm a little old fashioned Mike 2 Quote
Super User WRB Posted July 30, 2015 Super User Posted July 30, 2015 It depends on what the bass prefer, 4" GYCB Hula Grub on 3/8 oz jig, clear water, 5" on 1/2 to 3/4 oz jigs off color water. Will use the 4" #176 or #221 for water over 15' most of the time. Tom Quote

Quesenek Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I like using 3" double tail grubs and 4" single tail grubs in the pressured waters where I fish. The brand I've found doesn't really matter just whatever you like. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 1, 2015 Global Moderator Posted August 1, 2015 Both depending on a lot of different things. Quote
Super User Angry John Posted August 1, 2015 Super User Posted August 1, 2015 I am also a huge fan of the hula grub. You can use it to add bulk to the jig or for a very finesse presentation fish it on a jig head by itself. Quote
BW208 Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I like the dry creek twin tails. They work amazing. Quote
trupp30 Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 I have been using a SK menace grub this summer. I have had very good results using it as a swim jig trailer. The menace is a 4" twin tail. Quote
blckshirt98 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I like the Missile Baits Tomahawk...more durable than the Yamamotos. Quote
Super User Raul Posted August 2, 2015 Super User Posted August 2, 2015 3" & 4", you guys fishing for panfish ? Quote
Super User Gundog Posted August 2, 2015 Super User Posted August 2, 2015 I like the arkie twin tailed skirted grubs that are 4 inches. Work great in cooler water. 1 Quote
Super User ChrisD46 Posted August 2, 2015 Super User Posted August 2, 2015 5" ^^This^^ ... Zoom single or double tail grubs in 5" is pretty much standard . Quote
Super User WRB Posted August 3, 2015 Super User Posted August 3, 2015 3" & 4", you guys fishing for panfish ? No, the average size crawdads north of the border is between 3"-4" that bass eat on a regular basis. The trailers I use for giant bass are pork rind 3" -4" for that reason.Tom 1 Quote
