Super User FishTank Posted July 29, 2015 Super User Posted July 29, 2015 Reminds me of my old neighbor. He was one of the hardest working persons I have ever known. He had 3 manual labor jobs going at once and collected disability for years because of a previous car accident and surgery. He got busted and lost everything. Quote
BaitMonkey1984 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Paul was my favorite guy of the show. Saw him at a couple of the local boat shows and outdoor expos- great guy. He is innocent until proven guilty- let's hope the media headlines aren't true. 1 Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted July 29, 2015 Super User Posted July 29, 2015 I think the authorities also said the had him for "Fizzing" or letting air out of the tuna before bringing to the scales . When asked to comment, Paulie just laughed Wicked Haaaaaaaard. A-Jay Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 29, 2015 Global Moderator Posted July 29, 2015 Hmmm, that's going to be a pretty tough one to defend in court. Doesn't get much more physical than working on a fishing boat like that, and there's probably some video footage somewhere of him doing more work than someone with a disability should be able to do Quote

Whole family's still there - I go back every few years or so for a few days, just to remind myself why I left. Too many people. A-Jay Quote

Yeah,I have a neighbor that worked for the railroad. He claimed to have a back injury that luckily happened 3 months before retirement. Off work right into retirement at a higher rate of $$$. Iv`e seen no change of habits with his "injury" I seem to remember a scam of RR employees with a very high number of workers doing that. Quote

Super User J Francho Posted July 29, 2015 Super User Posted July 29, 2015 That wouldn't matter either, mass is mass, whether in water, on land, or in space. Quote

Super User Master Bait'r Posted July 29, 2015 Super User Posted July 29, 2015 When I first read that I was thinking "Maybe it's a PTSD thing, etc- a mental disability" but man, if he was claiming it was a physical disability he's definitely just jumped up a few hundred ticks on the dbag scale.
