Reminds me of my old neighbor.  He was one of the hardest working persons I have ever known.  He had 3 manual labor jobs going at once and collected disability for years because of a previous car accident and surgery.  He got busted and lost everything.

Paul was my favorite guy of the show. Saw him at a couple of the local boat shows and outdoor expos- great guy.  He is innocent until proven guilty- let's hope the media headlines aren't true.

I think the authorities also said the had him for "Fizzing" or letting air out of the tuna before bringing to the scales .

When asked to comment, Paulie just laughed Wicked Haaaaaaaard.

Since we're on the subject. Are you originally from the east coast? I sense a hint of an east coast accent in some of your videos

Hmmm, that's going to be a pretty tough one to defend in court. Doesn't get much more physical than working on a fishing boat like that, and there's probably some video footage somewhere of him doing more work than someone with a disability should be able to do  :laugh5:

Yes - born & raised (through high school) just outside of Boston, MA.

Whole family's still there - I go back every few years or so for a few days, just to remind myself why I left.

Too many people.

Very Cool Deak ~ Thank You very much.  I don't get back down there as often as I probably should.

But semi-subconsciously, that's by design.

Yeah,I have a neighbor that worked  for the railroad. He claimed to have a back injury that luckily happened 3 months before retirement. Off work right into retirement at a higher rate of $$$.

Iv`e seen no change of habits with his "injury"

I seem to remember a scam of RR employees with a very high number of  workers doing that.

Since air has weight, why would he let out the air?   Unless they are weighing the fish under water.

That wouldn't matter either, mass is mass, whether in water, on land, or in space.

Makes them easier to throw . . . .

When I first read that I was thinking "Maybe it's a PTSD thing, etc- a mental disability" but man, if he was claiming it was a physical disability he's definitely just jumped up a few hundred ticks on the dbag scale.

I'm not sure, but are you allowed to make extra money while on disability? If not, he's toasted tuna..er, I mean in trouble
