Naked Rage Blade

Is this the new scrounger? Only come in 3/8 and 1/2 but seem like they would have same effect.

The Rage Blade is designed more like a bottom dredge, the weight is at the bottom so it will roll over wood cover a little better (than a scrounger or chatterbait) too. 

 

They are all in the same basic family, but there are some differences too.

I fish them both and seems that the rage blade runs with a slightly more subtle action.

 

Also the Rage Blade comes though vegetation a little cleaner.

 

Both work best for me on a slow retrieve but the Scrounger is the better choice for deeper applications where the Rage Blake really excels in the top of the water column, right under the canopy of veggies.

 

And I'm liking that KVD Perfect Plastic Blade Minnow SK put out on Both baits.

I just picked up a pair of the 1/2oz pearl belly naked rage blades a week or so ago and while I haven't caught anything with them yet I really like the action. It feels like a win, I just need the scoreboard to agree with me before I start getting too excited I guess. They vibe HARD.

A bottom dredge? I would be lucky to get those things to run deeper then 3 feet.
