NCBassAssassin Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 This is my new PB, it was just a hair over 26.5 inches long. I don't have a scale, but will be buying one now lol. Does anyone have an estimate on weight?? Thanks! Quote
Super User Darren. Posted July 26, 2015 Super User Posted July 26, 2015 Congrats, mate! I'm guessing you'll be in the 9 pound range at that length... Quote

Super User Senko lover Posted July 26, 2015 Super User Posted July 26, 2015 Oh my, that's a big fish! I'd say a solid 9. Nice! Quote
Basswhippa Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Could be a 10 easily, if not somewhat more.. If you measured around the girth, we could give you a very close estimate. What did you catch him on and what time of day? Not asking for holes, just info. Great trophy. Quote
NCBassAssassin Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 All I had was the top of a cooler, wish I could've measured girth. Believe it or not it was just a of noon on a white spinnerbait in 25 feet of water over a submerged rock pile. Thanks! Quote
Basswhippa Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Awesome. Next time, get cut a piece of line and use it to measure the girth. Clip the excess line and then when you get home, measure that. I learned this right here at Bass Resource. Ha. 1 Quote

lo n slo Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Man you gotta get some scales! The diigital ones are relatively inexpensive and you can check them for accuracy every so often against a barbell or some other known weight. Awesome fish btw! Landing a giant is a clear testament for attention to detail in regards to tackle integrity. Good line, knot strength, sharp hooks and proper drag setting make it all possible. Well done. Quote
