So I went to the GON Blast (Georgia Outdoor Network expo).  Which is always cool, but it's mostly hunting/deer stuff.  But, I rounded a corner and Mike Bucca had a booth.  I couldn't believe it, in fact I was a little "star struck".  Luckily, my brother was able to carry the conversation while I pulled it together.  It was awesome meeting him, he's a super cool guy.  That makes insane swimbaits.  In fact, we talked for like a half an hour.  I ended up buying a Balsa Bull and a slow sink 5" Bull Shad (and a freebie Bull Shad decal).  He said he was a member here, and talked to Glen at Icast.  So Mike if you read this...shout out.

Big C, I caught all three of my first swimbait fish on the bullshad. That's been a lot of years ago now but it is still one of my favorite swimbaits. Why; because it flat out works. As far as Mike Bucca; he is one of my favorite people in the whole world. Down to earth, help anyone, give you the shirt off his back southern boy. He has been nothing but a blessing in my life since Arden Hanline Jr. introduced him to me. Thanks for saying such nice things about a man who so richly deserves it. Sincerely, g man
