I can see this lure doing really well out in Lake Okeechobee. Imagine the topwater explosion when a 12 foot gator comes from underneath and crushes this thing. ;D Quote
ab8aac Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 IF you ever decide to sell one of those I want one, I will pay 25.00 for one of those probably wont even fish it but dang what a job on it. Quote
BlakeMolone Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Wow thats a great looking lure! I bet the southern bass will love that Quote
Scruffy Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I agree with the above post, I would pay 25 for a lure like that just because of how unique it is...this may be the way you make a fortune my friend and I think you should keep making them. Just for giggles, it kind of looked like a massive sperm swimming around....thank goodness for a little paint. Quote

Paul Benner Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Water Moccasins are dark brown/black on top and light yellow or cream on their belly. Garters are about the same, but have yellow stripes and red spots down their bodies. Since you're in florida, I'd go with a Reticulated Python pattern. They've gone wild down there in the swamps, and are probably quite common as babies. - Like this: http://www.bobclark.com/d_learn.asp?id=71&cat=learn Best, Paul Quote
Blake R. Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I'm in NW Florida, so no pythons that I know of. The moccasin pattern sounds good. As said, dark brown with a light yellow (cream?) belly. Quote
Paul Benner Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Aye, Dark Brown with a Yellow or Cream belly. The Reticulated Python is the fault of humans. They've taken over quite a few swamp areas as people just let their giant pet snakes go, and the weather is warm enough and humid enough that they can survive and breed. Best, Paul Quote
Blake R. Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 So I've heard. South Florida is a melting pot of non-native species. Quote
